New opportunities and prospects for international cooperation

According to the Erasmus+ KA1 project between ZNTU and the Catholic University of Leuven from June 4 to 10, lectures of Professor P. Arras and D. Janson.

Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and International Activities, Doctor of Technical Sciences, prof. V.V. Naumyk and Prof. P. Arras, at a special meeting, they developed a strategic plan for the development of cooperation within the framework of the new agreement and determined directions for the expansion of cooperation, in particular in the field of architecture and construction.

Lectures of Prof. Arras and D. Jansen were visited by students of the department of software tools (head of the department of technical sciences, Prof. S.O. Subbotin), of the department of information technologies of electronic equipment design (head of the department of technical sciences, associate professor G.M. Shilo), of the faculty of construction, architecture and design (dean of the department of technical sciences, Prof. E.Yu. Antipenko), of the department of mechanical engineering technology (head of the department of Ph.D., associate professor S.I. Dyadya).

In addition to ZNTU students, students of the Zaporizhzhia Construction College (http://www.zap-construct.com.ua/kerivnuk) had the opportunity to listen to lectures on alternative construction materials with the support of director O.S. Kamenev

For an interview with prof. 6 applications were submitted by P. Arras to participate in mobility to the Catholic University of Leuven in the 2018/2019 academic year from the Faculty of Engineering and Physics, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and the Faculty of Construction, Architecture and Design. All students showed deep knowledge in their subject area and a sufficient level of command of the English language.

Guests had the opportunity to visit the exhibition of masters of the Zaporizhzhia region, which is currently open in the ZNTU library, to familiarize themselves with the traditions and folklore of the Zaporizhzhia region. They also witnessed the victory of the ZNTU basketball team in the student league.
