New opportunities for academic mobility to the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium)
Since 2015, there has been an inter-institutional agreement between the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven) and Zaporizhzhia National Technical University. within the framework of which teachers and students have the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ KA1 program.
In 2016, ZNTU received additional funding under the Erasmus+ program KA1 2016-1-BE02-KA107-017264. Until June 2018, there is an opportunity for internships for 3 master’s students for 6 months and 3 graduate students for 6 months and 1 graduate student for 12 months.
An interview with Petro Arras, responsible for credit mobility at KU Leuven from ZNTU, will take place on November 11, 2016 in the auditorium. 57 from 10-00 to 12-00.
Students who wish to take part in the competition for participation in credit mobility in the spring semester of 2016/2017 should send an application to Halyna Volodymyrivna Tabunshchik, professor of the Department of Software, by November 1, 2016 at the email address Halyna.tabunshchik@gmail.com and prov. the following documents to Larisa Mykolaivna Duiko, a specialist in the international relations department (interdep@zntu.edu.ua):
– motivational letter in English;
– letter of recommendation from the supervisor of the diploma project indicating the topic of the diploma project;
– a document confirming the level of English language proficiency at a level not lower than B1.
Teachers who wish to take part in teaching mobility, which necessarily includes 8 hours of lectures to students of the Catholic University of the relevant specialty, should send an email to Halyna Volodymyrivna Tabunshchik, professor of the department of software tools, at Halyna.tabunshchik@gmail.com :

As part of the first agreement, 2 ZNTU graduate students (Mark Kuchugurov and Anton Germashev (supervisor Yu.M. Vnukov)) and three masters (Olexii Bondarenko from the Department of Electric Drive and Automation, Tetyana Kharlanova from the Department of Transport Technologies and Sergiy Korotunov from the department of software tools).
In the fall semester of 2016/2017, 2 students of ZNTU are graduating at the De Nair campus:
Chernovol Nataliia Mykolaivna, mechanical engineering faculty, group M-121m. Supervisor of master’s work from ZNTU Kondratyuk Eduard Vasyliovych. Supervisors at KU Leuven: Jozef Verheyen, Prof. Bert Lauwers.
Sementsov Oleh Mykolayovych, Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering, group KNT-411m. Supervisor of master’s thesis from ZNTU Shilo Halyna Mykolaivna. Supervisor at KU Leuven: Maarten Sourbron.
As part of credit mobility, master’s and postgraduate students submit a set of documents for studying/internship at KU Leuven campuses, which should amount to a total of 30 credits per semester (6 months).
