Science Night 2020
On September 25, 2020 at 4:00 PM at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, in compliance with the necessary anti-epidemic measures, at the address: Zaporizhzhia, Zhukovsky St., 64. an open event «Science Night» will be held, dedicated to the opening of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» and the 120th anniversary of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.
The purpose of the event: popularization of science, STREAM education, new technologies, scientific and technical creativity and modern engineering and technical specialties, which are used in the educational process at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, organization of useful leisure for children.
The organizers of the event: Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University and the after-school educational institution «Center for Scientific and Technical Creativity of Youth »Polit« Zaporizhzhia City Council of Zaporizhzhia Region with the support of the Department of Education and Science of the Zaporizhzhia City Council and the Territorial Department of Education of the Shevchenkivskyi District.
Event program: the event program includes master classes, excursions, exhibitions, interactive experiments, etc. based on the leading departments of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, namely: »Interfloor movement«, »How money is created«, »Fast and Furious«, »Materials Wars«, »Voice of the roads«, »Modern masters of metal«, »Logistics of the future«, »Journey to the world of computer software developers«, »Electronic gadgets«, »Creating games on Python», «Magic of Metals. During the event «Night of Science 2020», a scientific children’s conference with university specialists «Nights about science» will be held, organized by the after-school educational institution «Center for scientific and technical creativity of youth «Flight» Zaporizhzhia City Council of Zaporizhzhia Region.
