National scholarship program of the Slovak Republic

The National Scholarship Program (NSP) of the Slovak Republic offers scholarships to master’s students, post-graduate students, teachers of higher education institutions and researchers of Ukraine and other countries for internships in Slovak higher education institutions and research institutes.

The national scholarship program is financed by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic.

The scholarship within the NSP is intended to cover the living expenses (food, accommodation, etc.) of foreign scholarship holders during their internship at universities and research institutes in Slovakia.

Duration of internship: 1-2 semesters for students; 1-12 months – for graduate students, teachers and researchers.

Scholarship application deadline:

– April 30 – internship during the next academic year

– October 31 – internship during the summer semester of the current academic year

Scholarship applications are submitted online at www.scholarships.sk. The online application system opens no later than 6 weeks before the application deadline. Applications can be submitted only after opening the online application system.
