Ours in China
On December 8, the Main Academic Building of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv hosted a solemn award ceremony for the winners of the «Seeds for the Future» program from Huawei Ukraine. The ceremony was attended by the rector of ZNTU, Prof. Serhiy Borisovich Belikov, the rector of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv Academician Leonid Gubersky, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Yurii Rashkevych, Counselor-Envoy of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Ukraine, Ms. Zheng Wei, Vice President of Huawei for the Central Asia and Caucasus region, Marco Xu.
One of the winners of the «Seeds for the Future 2017» program from Huawei Ukraine was a student of group RT-913 of the «Radio Engineering and Telecommunications» department, Maksym Bolotny. As a reward, he received the opportunity to undergo a two-week internship in China. The first week, Maksym studied Chinese in Beijing, and the second week was dedicated directly to issues of the telecommunications direction and was held in Shenzhen – this city is called the second «Silicon Valley».
