In November 2014, the assistant of the Department of Ukrainian Studies Koyans A.A. participated in the TV program «We are Ukrainian» on the Zaporizhzhia TV channel. The program is devoted to little-known pages of the history of Zaporizhzhia in the 20s and 30s of the 20th century, namely, the Volga Tatars. Today, more than 4,000 Volga Tatars live in Zaporizhzhia.
