«Shyt» SME protects the honor of ZNTU
On September 23, at the base of the 55th separate artillery brigade, the Department of Youth, Physical Culture and Sports of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration held the final stage of the regional military and sports competition «Recruit 2016». 17 teams of student and working youth participated in it, including representatives of universities and colleges of our region, «Motor Sichi», «Zaporizka NPP» and others. The teams competed in uniform and song contests, incomplete disassembly and assembly of weapons, putting on protective equipment, first medical aid in «combat» conditions, specialized cross-country, pull-ups in body armor, shooting competitions, and military relay.
Zaporizhzhia National Technical University was represented by the «SHIELD ZNTU» team, which included employees of our «SHIELD» special unit. The team represented our university worthily, although it did not become the winner. Let’s hope that the first experience of participating in this event will allow us to win next year.
