International Student Scientific Paper Competition «Black Sea Science 2020»
At the International Student Scientific Paper Competition «Black Sea Science 2020», held by the Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies, the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University was worthily presented by a student of the Department of Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Plants (EPA) Nikola Oleinikov (group E-319m) with a scientific paper on the topic «Automatic control system for two-mass position electric drive» (scientific supervisors – Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Environmental Protection Osadchy V.V., Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Environmental Protection Nazarova O.S.)
The goal of the competition is to expand international ties and activate students’ scientific work.
The scientific work was presented in the section «Information technologies, automation and robotics». This year, 48 works from 32 higher education institutions competed in the section, including those from Belarus, China, Kazakhstan, Poland, and Georgia.
The jury of this direction included well-known scientists and organizers in the field of IT, including: Francisco Augusto – Doctor of Science, International Relations Manager – Higher Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (Angola); Simon Milbert – Vice President of Xtra Information Management, Inc. (USA); Ivan Palov – D.Sc., Professor, University of Ruse «Angel Kancha» (Bulgaria); Gerard H. Degla – Communications and Training Manager of the Group of Companies «MAPCOM solutions informatiques» (Benin); Doctor of Engineering, Professors Viktor Khobin, Valeriy Plotnikov, Sergii Artemenko, Petro Montyk.
The competition among the submitted works was very high, some scientific works represent an almost completed startup, some – ready scientific publications at the level of candidate of sciences, some will probably apply for a patent for the invention.
This year, our work was ahead of competitors from China, Kazakhstan and many universities in Ukraine, only a few points were missing from the prize place.
