International partners of ZNTU
International cooperation is one of the strategic directions of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, as it contributes primarily to the growth of intellectual potential. The University is actively working not only to constantly expand partnerships but also to establish reliable and long-term cooperation, which is facilitated by the international Erasmus+ KA1 and KA2 programs.
New agreements on the development of cooperation were reached during a meeting between the rector of ZNTU, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Prof. S.B. Belikov, and the rector of the Carinthian University of Applied Sciences (Austria), Prof. Petro Granig, and the vice-rector for scientific activities, Prof. Michael Auer ( https://www.fh-kaernten.at/fh-newsletter/details/fh-besuch-von-delegation-aus-albanien-und-der-ukraine/ ).
In September 2018, Dr. Sc., Prof. S.B. Belikov was an honorary guest at the inauguration of the rector of the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra (Slovakia), which allowed the renewal of cooperation between ZNTU and UKF and the submission of new projects for funding under the Erasmus+ KA1 program.
Today, the university has signed 7 inter-institutional agreements with European universities (https://old.zp.edu.ua/akademichna-mobilnist), in particular, the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium), the Technical University of Ilmenau (Germany), the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund (Germany), the Carinthian University of Applied Sciences (Austria), the Thomas More University College (Belgium), the Madrid Polytechnic (Spain), and the Transylvania University of Brasov, which allows students to study for 3 to 6 months at a partner university and teachers to exchange teaching experience and scientific achievements.
Thanks to the implementation of international projects, ZNTU has become part of a center of cross-border research and competences in project management, innovation and digital transformation in cooperation with the Catholic University of Leuven, the Institute of Applied Sciences and Arts in Dortmund, the Technical University of Kaunas, the University of the Basque Country (Bilbao) and universities in Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
Together with the Carinthian University of Applied Sciences, the Technical University of Ilmenau and the Transylvania University of Brasov, ZNTU is a partner of the Global Online Consortium and a member of the online engineering association ( http://www.online-engineering.org/ ).
Cooperation with the Polytechnic of Madrid became possible thanks to participation in the international EU project Erasmus+ «Innovative multidisciplinary curriculum for bachelor training and Masters in Artificial Implants for Bioengineering» 586114-EPP-1-2017-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP (https://old.zp.edu.ua/?q=node/6985).
According to the concluded agreements, ZNTU teachers can share their experience in teaching special disciplines and conduct 8 hours of lectures at partner universities at the expense of the Erasmus+ KA1 program. During the period from 2015 to 2019, 7 ZNTU teachers have already conducted lectures at partner universities during international weeks and special seminars. Also, thanks to the program, ZNTU students had the opportunity to listen to lectures by teachers from German and Belgian universities (https://old.zp.edu.ua/novi-mozhlyvosti-ta-perspektyvy-mizhnarodnoyi-spivpraci, https://old.zp.edu.ua/dosyagnennya-ta-perspektyvy-mizhnarodnoyi-spivpraci-z-tehnichnym-universytetom-ilmenau).
