International exhibition and scientific conference «Education and sport in the age of power and happiness»

On November 9-10, 2017, ZNTU rector prof. At the invitation of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, Serhii Borisovych Belikov took part in the work of the international exhibition and scientific conference «Education and Sport in the Age of Power and Happiness».

The official opening of the event took place in the premises of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan with the announcement of the greeting message of the highly respected President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the participants of the exhibition and conference.

At the exhibition, the stands of all 18 universities of Turkmenistan, many foreign universities and international organizations were presented.

A plenary session of the conference was held in the meeting hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, in which representatives of the USA, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Russia, Spain, Pakistan, India, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Japan, China, Germany, Azerbaijan, Great Britain, Korea, Romania, Austria, Malaysia, Turkey, Mongolia and Turkmenistan took part.

We led the work of 4 sections of the conference:

— Reforms of the Honorable President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in the field of education and sports and international cooperation;

— Development of international cooperation in the field of physical education and sports – priority areas of state policy;

— The role and significance of innovative technologies in the modernization of the education and sports system;

— The training of highly qualified specialists, continuous improvement of their qualifications is the most important condition for improving the system of education and sports.

Rector of ZNTU S.B. made a presentation «Zaporizhsky National Technical University: 20 years of development to the top of sports achievements». Belikov.

The heads of the section, in particular, the rector of the National Transport University (Kyiv) Mykola Fedorovych Dmytrychenko, spoke at the closing ceremony of the International Exhibition and Scientific Conference.

The participants of the conference accepted an appeal addressed to the President of Turkmenistan, Mr. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, where they expressed their sincere gratitude for the organization of such a large-scale international event.

Foreign participants of the conference had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the capital of Turkmenistan, the city of Ashgabat, its numerous new buildings, and visit the impressive Ashgat Olympic Complex, where the 5th Asian Indoor Games were held in September 2017.
