International conference «Autumn Regional Meeting 2017» within the framework of the international student organization BEST
From October 17 to 24, members of the international student organization BEST at the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University traveled to Poland as part of the international conference «Autumn Regional Meeting 2017». Alina Lashchenkova (member of FEU-115), Kuzmenko Anastasiia (member of RT-815), Nazarenko Kateryna (member of M-127sp) and Yaremko Ivan (member of E-116) represented the local branch of BEST Zaporizhzhia and the university in Gliwice, where there were also representatives of Romania, Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Moldova, Poland, Ukraine and Portugal. Students communicated with representatives of technical universities of these countries, exchanged experience, studied together at trainings, had discussions on important topics, received knowledge from the international BESTy.
Topics of trainings, discussions and workshops that were considered: «Project management», «Leadership», «Communication and feedback», «Writing scientific papers», «Structure of business negotiations», «How to improve cooperation between local branches of countries in the region», «What motivates students to be in the organization» and many other topics.
After a total of four days on the road and a three-day conference, the students were introduced to the cultures of other countries, have vivid impressions, unforgettable memories, many new acquaintances, knowledge and ideas for improving the functioning of BEST Zaporizhzhia!
