«Mashinkivtsi» conquer the «Dnipro League of Laughter»!
We are pleased to announce that our KVN team «Zaporozhsky VEKTOR-Mashinka-ZNTU» successfully participated in the festival of the Official Dnipro League of Laughter. «Dniprovka» started as part of the project «Ukrainian Championship in Humor »League of Laughter«», and this is its second season in the country.
The festival itself was held on April 3 at the National Center for Aerospace Education of Youth named after O.M. Makarov in Dnipropetrovsk. The participating teams prepared original and funny business cards up to 5 minutes long in a free format. Following the results of the performances, the best 14 teams each received one of 7 «star coaches».
We talked to the captain of the native «Mashynkiv» team, Denys Bondarenko, and we want to share his impressions with you. (The interview is given in the original language).
– When did you go to Dnepropetrovsk? How much time did you have to prepare? When did the festival itself take place?
– We were in Dnepropetrovsk on March 31, on Thursday. We prepared for a month, but after editing, we added new jokes on the spot. The festival went well, as always there were its minuses and its pluses, but, overall, the picture turned out to be pleasant.
– How long have you been performing with this composition?
– It’s been 3 years already. We almost became champions of the Open Zaporizhzhia League with this team in 2014 and decided to gather again and take all the cups.
– How do you think they performed? How did the hall receive you?
– As I already said, there are pros and cons. They performed well, but not as expected due to technical nuances. The hall is very warm and educated.
– A few words about your mentor.
– Serhii Lavryk is a member of the KVN «HAI» team, Vytalka’s father from the TV series of the same name and a very experienced and positive coach.
– What is next for the team?
– Games on May 24 or 25 on the Dnipro stage, but already with a coach and new jokes.
– Personal impressions, wishes.
– We really enjoyed the trip. We learned a lot from it and remembered the old. Special thanks for the support of the charitable organization "Zaporozhsky Vektor" and personally to the philanthropist Oleksandr Boguslaev and, of course, to our university – "Mashinka" – represented by the rector, Professor Serhii Borisovich Belikov.
