«Mashynka» melts ice!
Have you noticed that people on the ice rink, as a rule, always smile? Personally, I don’t remember seeing a gloomy face there. You race on skates, and you laugh like in childhood, for no particular reason, sincerely, in a good way.
On December 19, on St. Mykola Day, the students of «Mashynka» felt these emotions when they visited our city ice rink «Metelitsa».
«Don’t let your brains burn – put on your skates» – it was under this slogan that a mass march of our students to the ice rink was organized. They immersed themselves in an unusual fairy tale on ice for two hours and briefly forgot about the winter session and gray everyday life. There were many people who wanted to visit the skating rink – more than 200 restless students filled the ice space of «Metelitsa». It is impossible to convey in words the atmosphere created by the students of ZNTU, sparkling with skates.
The active members of the student council of the dormitory No. 2 of ZNTU (chairman Marchenko Kostyantyn Olegovich, M-614) suggested spending their leisure time in this way, and not only suggested it, but also did everything possible to ensure that as many students as possible experienced the holiday of St. Mykola! And they were helped in this by the trade union committee of students, postgraduates and doctoral students of ZNTU and the management of the university campus.
The students’ impressions turned out to be extraordinary, some shared with us:
«It was incredible!» – said Illia Kokhan, a student from the FEU-614 group, at the exit from the ice rink.
«We – ZNTU, we – are a big family, and it is very good that together we not only study, but also spend our leisure time. Going to the ice rink was a good opportunity to distract ourselves from the session and get into the New Year’s mood» – commented in an interview student T-325sp Yevhen Rezanov.
There were a lot of good impressions, or rather – icy ocean. So from now on, the student council of dormitory No. 2 plans to continue holding mass events of a similar format, because our students are initiative, creativity, and an inexhaustible source of fun ideas.
