Obyrok Art Farm invites you to the first open-air festival of African culture.
Ukrainians travel little (about 70% have not been abroad). There are many reasons: lack of money, language barrier, fear of the unknown, etc.
But even when traveling, only a few dare to go not to civilized Europe, but to little-known Africa.
We can’t take all Ukrainians to Africa, so let’s bring Africa to Ukraine!
The festival participants will immerse themselves in the unknown and fascinating world of African culture. They will learn about the common and distinctive features between our peoples, feel the taste of Africa and hear its voices.
The festival program includes:
– incendiary music and dances by African artists;
– documentaries that will show footage from the "black" continent, its life and challenges;
– discussions and dialogues to work out the conflicts of «black» and «white» worlds;
– African painting and photography;
– a fair of authentic products from African masters and tastes of various African food;
– fun and educational entertainment for the youngest guests of the festival;
– master classes and tastings.
