Master class from OJSC «Zaporizhstal» for students of IIRE

On March 13, a master class on the topic «Information technologies at the enterprise (on the example of OJSC Zaporizhstal) was held at the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University with the support of the Employment Promotion Center.» It has become a source of valuable information for FCNT and FRET students of all courses, and especially for those who have almost finished their studies at our institution.

Uriy Ihorovych Oreshkin, head of the information systems department, was invited to hold the master class. He immediately got down to business, noting very important aspects of employment that every student should consider. For example, such a serious indicator as work experience, without which it will be difficult for young specialists, was brought out, as well as the features of passing an interview.

Further we talked about the duties and working conditions of IT specialists in the context of a metallurgical enterprise, which was accompanied by a visual presentation. The speaker did not forget to dilute the crazy amount of high-tech terms with interesting practical facts.

It should be noted that the master class turned out to be as versatile as it is possible in the field of informatics at the enterprise. Therefore, even a student of the mechanical engineering faculty could glean a few important remarks.

Y.I. Oreshkin gladly answered the students’ questions. The youth were interested in the availability of vacancies, opportunities to realize themselves in the field of training, wages and peculiarities of work organization at the enterprise.
