The future is us
On November 26, 28, and 29 at 3:00 p.m., meetings were held with ATO fighters Mykhailo Pirogh and Dmytro Stepanenko at the base of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th dormitories. They told the students their own stories about military service and the various obstacles they faced. In simple words about the main thing, short and bright.
A small excursion into the history of Ukraine, which was accompanied by appropriate video material, gave students the opportunity to see the general picture of events.
The soldiers were advised to improve themselves and learn things that might be useful both in civilian life and on the battlefield, such as self-defense and basic medical skills. Few people think that such little things are very important and, of course, they emphasized that the future of Ukraine lies with the youth. Currently, the youth are our students, they are us, and it depends on us what the country will be like in a few years.
After the story, interested students asked questions that really bothered them, to which they received quite concise and clear answers. They talked about what is really important, what worries young people today and does not leave their thoughts.
Finally, Mykhailo Pyrig and Dmytro Stepanenko said just a few words to the students, and what words they were. The fact that after today’s meeting they thought at least a little about the events taking place in the East of the country and what it could lead to, then all this was not in vain. Therefore, every next day will bring us closer to the dream of a happy future in which Ukraine is united. The only one is from west to east, from north to south. We are young, we are strong and independent, just like our country. And despite the fact that our territories suffer from the paws of the invader, we will be able to overcome our enemies and find our happiness on the territory of Ukraine.
