The future is being shaped today!

For the purpose of early career guidance, popularization of engineering specialties and development of natural science, mathematical and scientific competencies of students in educational institutions, their involvement in research, invention, project activities, which will allow to increase the share of those who aspire to become engineers, scientists, researchers, in-depth mastery of the system of knowledge and skills in STREAM education subjects, the Academic Council of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University decided to create a separate unit – «Children’s and Youth Scientific University «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic».

Today, August 12, 2020, the first step towards cooperation between the «Children’s and Youth Scientific University «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» and secondary education institutions of the Shevchenkivskyi district took place. The mission of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» is to involve children in scientific–technical education and creativity, as well as to popularize natural science and mathematics education and engineering and technical specialties. Future young students will influence the development of the modern formation of education in the city. The Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Professor Hreshta Viktor Leonidovich, defined the goal and strategy of cooperation, the Head of the Territorial Department of Education of the Shevchenkivskyi District Perepelitsa Nataliia Yevhenivna supported the relevant decisions, the Director of the Out-of-School Educational Institution «Center for Scientific and Technical Creativity of Youth »Polit« of the Zaporizhzhia City Council of the Zaporizhzhia Region, Levina Nataliia Vitaliyevna, and the Head of the Department »Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Installations« of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, Associate Professor Pyrozhko Andriy Volodymyrovych, outlined steps for further fruitful work.
