Welcome newcomers!

The 2013 admission campaign is successfully coming to an end, and very soon a new stream of first-year students will enter Zaporizhzhia National Technical University. We hope that they will conscientiously overcome the granite of higher science and worthily continue the work of their illustrious predecessors-graduates.

The fact of updating the student body of our native «Mashynka» would like to support with the relevant figures of the statistics of the admissions committee of Zaporizhzhia National Technical University.

This year, more than 8,500 applications were submitted for full-time study in various specialties. Of this number, 946 people were admitted to the budget, and 315 of them after graduating from colleges and technical schools on the basis of a junior specialist. Regarding the contract form of study, we note that the recruitment is still ongoing until August 25, so approximately 718 applications have been submitted for the contract to date.

The most popular specialty in terms of the number of applications submitted was technical translation: 457 applicants wanted to enter it.

Last fall, many people were enrolled in preparatory courses at the General Technical Faculty of Zaporizhzhia National Technical University. With regular attendance, such courses not only help to effectively prepare for external independent assessment, but can also increase the applicant’s competitive score by a maximum of 20 points. The result of attending classes at the general technical faculty was not long in coming, and after completing the preparatory courses, 206 people entered our university for the budget form of study.

It should also be noted information for applicants who this or previous years could not decide on the background of the admission campaign and did not enter the university in 2013: so far, the external examination certificates that appeared starting in 2008 are indefinite, and therefore always valid.

So, to the young people who have joined the number of "Mashinkivtsi" we say "Welcome!", we wish future applicants success, and those who did not enter, we encourage you with the chance that will open up before you next year! We hope that Zaporizhzhia National Technical University will give you the best knowledge and your dream profession, as well as the most unforgettable years of student life!
