Courses in 3D printing for employees of Iskra KP NVK at the Department of Software Tools of ZNTU

On the basis of the department of software tools of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University (ZNTU), the ZNTU Business School, with the support of the international project «Internet of Things: Emerging Curriculum for Industry and Human Applications» (ALIOT, 573818-EPP-1-2016-1-UK-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) of the European Union’s «Erasmus+» program, organized courses on three-dimensional modeling and printing for 60 employees of the KP NEC «Spark».

At the first lesson, an organizational meeting was held, which was opened by the head of the department of software tools, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Prof. S.O. Saturday with a welcome speech to the audience and a story about the department and its international cooperation projects. The introductory review lecture on three-dimensional modeling and printing was conducted by the associate professor of the faculty. software tools, Ph.D., associate professor A.V. Parkhomenko. During the lecture, the listeners learned about modern achievements and prospects for the use of three-dimensional printing in various areas of production.

The courses continued with a cycle of practical classes in the laboratories of the department of software tools, which are conducted by Art. off OHM. Hladkova, assistant Zh.K. Kaminska and head lab., assistant M.O. Andreev. During practical classes, students will learn to work with a 3D printer and a 3D scanner, master modern software for three-dimensional design.
