Cup of Ukraine in sports aerobics
On November 24, 2018, the updated Sports Palace «Yunist» hosted the final competitions of the Cup of Ukraine in sports aerobics, in which teams from eleven regions took part. The team of the Zaporizhzhia region (made up of ZNTU athletes) took first place in the team standings and won the 2018 Ukrainian Cup!
The teams were prepared: ZNTU sports aerobics team – Svitlana Atamanyuk, ZNTU funk aerobics team – MSMK Kateryna Shekhovtsova and ZNTU children’s national team coach Oleksandra Podopryhor.

During the competition, spectators and fans were in for some surprises – a flash mob of 150 athletes of the sports aerobics team was held to the singing of our famous singers – students of ZNTU, Ani Kosovych and Myshka Gerasimchuk. And 48 students – representatives of all faculties of ZNTU specializing in «aerobics» performed a demonstration number with fit balls and step platforms, which was prepared by trainers-teachers of the FKONVS department of ZNTU MSMK Kateryna Shekhovtsova, MSMK Alina Kubatko and MS Svitlana Kokareva.
