«Round Table» on the topic «Trident – the state symbol of Ukraine: from princely times to the present»
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the adoption of the Trident as the emblem of the Ukrainian People’s Republic, a «round table» on the topic «Trident – the state symbol of Ukraine: from princely times to the present» was held in the scientific library of Zaporizhzhia National Technical University on February 28, 2018. State symbol of Ukraine: from princely times to the present day», organized by the Department of Information Activities and Public Communications of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, the Faculty of Humanities of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University and the Zaporizhzhia Regional Museum of Local Lore.
The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, Professor Mykola Dedkov, Deputy Director of the Department of Information Activities and Public Communications of the Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Zubchenko, Director of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Museum of Local Lore Mykhailo Mordovskoy, Deputy Director of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Museum of Local Lore, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Georgy Shapovalov, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Cossack Coordination Council of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Dmytro Sukhinin, scientists, representatives of the government, the public, students and cadets of the Lyceum «Zahiznyk».
The decoration of the «round table» became a tablet exhibition «History of the Ukrainian Coat of Arms» of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Museum of Local Lore.
