The Cossack spirit is unbreakable!

Handball championships have been held in Ukraine since 1992. In its history, Zaporizhzhia won the most victories, and this year I managed to attend one of the games of the Championship and support the Zaporizhzhia team «ZNTU-ZAS».

On September 28, the ZNTU-ZAS (Zaporizhzhia) handball team defeated the OLYMPUS-85 (Chisinau) team 31:28 in the fourth round of the Ukrainian Handball Championship. This time the game was extremely intense, because from the first minutes luck was on the side of OLYMPUS. However, the second half made adjustments, and «ZNTU-ZAS» took the lead with a minimal margin. The head coach is Vyacheslav Lochman. Mykhailo Bilous, Vitalii Gorbachev, Dmytro Ilchenko, Yaroslav Kostyuk, Eduard Kravchenko, Oleksandr Lykhina, Serhiy Orlovsky and Andriy Fedan showed their best during the game. Vitalii Gorbachev was recognized as the best scorer.

The positive result for the Zaporizhzhia team was also influenced by the considerable support of the ZNTU-ZAS fan club and the atmosphere of the Cossack spirit. As they say: the Cossack spirit is indomitable. The boys played as well as possible and still proved that this saying is pure truth.
