There is no translation for the Cossack family
On October 13, 2014, the annual bright competition «There is no translation for the Cossack family» was held in the courtyard of the Zaporizhzhia Electrotechnical College of ZNTU.
The celebration was attended by students, administration, student trade union, guests and parents of students.
It all started with the solemn anthem of our state. Everyone present sang the anthem, and it looked extremely patriotic. It was very festive. The guys from each team were dressed in embroidered shirts. And such a number of young Cossacks really attracted the girls who passed by them.
A total of 10 teams from each first-year group took part in the competition. The guys had been preparing for the competition for a month. Because it was necessary not only to perform brightly, but also to work on the wall painting, learn a Cossack song and sing it together with your support group, and practice shooting accurately.
The competitions began. And here is such a variety of competitions: «Take off your hat», «Hand-to-hand combat», «Kebb press», «Log throwing», «Rifle shooting», «Unloading ammunition», «Drag the Seagull across the shallows». Each competition is special in its own way. So the «Take off your hat» competition consists of one player from each team standing in a circle, and the first to take off their hat wins. The competition «Drag the Seagull across the shallows» also captivated everyone present; the participants were very impressed by the cohesion and team spirit of each team. The competition «Rifle Shooting» was the loudest. So many shots could be heard that it was even breathtaking. And the competition «Unloading Ammunition» impressed the whole team by the fact that the entire team had to unload boxes in the amount of 5 pcs. weighing 16 kg each at speed. And the team that did it the fastest won.
And the judges barely had time to count the points for one or another competition.
The competition «Cossack Song» delighted everyone present. It was extraordinary, when different songs were very difficult and each team sang in costumes in turn with its support group.
The results of the competition are as follows:
- 1st place in the team competition was won by the team of the KVET group 14 1/9
- 2nd place in the team competition was won by the team of the EMA group 14 1/9
- 3rd place in the team competition was won by the team of the MEU group 14 1/9
And each group also showed itself in one or another competition. Those who showed the best results were also noted.
The winners of the traditional sports holiday «There is no translation for the Cossack family» received sweet gifts from the Trade Union of Students, Postgraduates and Doctoral Students of ZNTU.
