Conference of the trade union committee of ZNTU students

On March 31, 2015, a conference of the primary organization of the trade union of students, postgraduates and doctoral students of ZNTU took place in the 320 auditorium, which was dedicated to the ZNTU rector’s report.

Rector of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University – Belikov Serhiy Borisovych – reported on his work for the years 2010-2015, and at the conference, almost all the activities that were carried out during the reporting period were mentioned. These include STEMs, KVN games, «Student Springs», Donor Days, sports events, the development of active students is encouraged, the university supports connections through many Ukrainian and international programs, students’ creative leisure is organized, and the «SHIELD» organization works on the basis of the university. It should be noted that the rector of ZNTU is one of the few rectors of Zaporizhzhia universities who so actively supports enterprising youth.

The rector mentioned positive changes in the number of students entering and graduating from various degrees over the period from 1998 to 2014.

The most active students of our university spoke with words of thanks to the rector and proposals to support the candidacy of Belikov Serhiy Borisovych for the position of rector of ZNTU for the next period.

At the end of the conference, a vote was held and Serhiy Borisovych Belikov was unanimously nominated for the position of rector for the next term, and S.B. Belikov’s work as rector was recognized as satisfactory.

By the way, on April 2, a meeting of the academic council and the labor team of ZNTU was held, where they also listened to the rector’s report on the work performed and by joint decision recommended Serhiy Borisovych Belikov for the post of rector of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University for the next term.
