The ZNTU_SetUp team is the first in the Southern region!
The teams of students ZNTU_SetUp and ZNTU_Kappatalize performed excellently, taking first and third place, respectively, in the final table of the regional stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in ACM programming and received the right to represent the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University (ZNTU) in the semifinals of the International Student Olympiad in ACM Programming.
On September 11-13, 2015, Zaporizhzhia National University hosted the II (regional) stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in ACM programming. Stage II of the Olympiad is simultaneously the 1/4 finals of the ACM International Student Programming Olympiad. The Olympiad was sponsored by the following IT companies: Looksery, Livestream and DataX.
5 teams of ZNTU, which were selected at the regional stage, were invited to participate in the regional stage of the Olympiad:

ZNTU_ByteShift: Grishin Mykyta Vyacheslavovich, Shatokhin Danylo Serhiovych, KNT-412, Nataliya Viktorivna Bloshchynska, KNT-422, IV year;
ZNTU_Kappatalize: Yevhen Romanovych Tverdohlib, KNT-213, Maksym Yevhenovich Mishchenko, KNT-413, III course, Anzhelika Olehivna Kovalchuk, KNT-512, IV course;
The team trainer is a senior teacher of the department of software tools Myronova Nataliia Oleksiivna.

In total, 42 teams and 157 participants from 20 universities in Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhia, Berdyansk and Melitopol took part in the regional stage of the student programming Olympiad.
Winners of the regional stage in the absolute standings:
- – the first place was won by the team ZNTU_SetUp;
- – the second place was won by ONU_Antananarivu (Mechnikov Odesa National University) and ONPU_Compote (Odessa National Polytechnic University);
- – in 3rd place – ONAFT_C++In14days (Odesa National Academy of Food Technologies), ZNTU_Kappatalize (Zaporizhsky National Technical University) and ONPU_LightScr1be (Odessa National Polytechnic University).
Commands ZNTU_SetUp, ONU_Antananarivu, ONPU_Compote and ONAFT_C++In14days, ZNTU_Kappatalize, ONPU_LightScr1be, ONU_Cat_Power and ONPU_TASCHI, which took place with 1st to 8th absolute place were selected for the Southeast European World Semi-Finals of the ACM-ICPC Student Programming Olympiad, which will be held at VNTU (Vinnytsia) in October and will be held simultaneously with the finals of the Ukrainian ACM-ICPC Programming Championship in the higher league.

From July 28 to August 6, 2015, the Summer Programming School was held online, which is the final stage in the cycle of Ukrainian students’ preparation for the semi-finals of the ASM World Student Programming Championship (first league) and the final of the All-Ukrainian Student Programming Olympiad among the second-league teams that form the III stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Programming Olympiad.
2 teams represented ZNTU at the online Summer School: ZNTU_SetUp and ZNTU_Kappatalize. According to the results of the school, the teams ZNTU_SetUp and ZNTU_Kappatalize performed excellently and took 3rd place, respectively, in the elite and first divisions.
