XIII All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference «South of Ukraine in conditions of global socio-cultural transformations: issues of cultural, ethno-religious, ethnic and national-civic identity»
On October 3-4, 2019, the traditional XIII All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference «South of Ukraine in the conditions of global socio-cultural transformations: issues of cultural, ethno-religious, ethnic and national-civic identity» was held in the premises of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, which was co-organized by the Department of Ukrainian Studies and General Language Training of the Faculty of Humanities of the National University «Zaporizhzhia» polytechnic”, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Institute of Political and Ethnonational Studies named after I.F. Kurasa of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Zaporizhzhia Regional Museum of Local Lore. In addition to scientists from Zaporizhzhia, representatives of scientific centers of Ukraine and cultural and national societies of Zaporizhzhia region took part in the conference. In total, more than eighty scientific articles and materials were submitted to the conference.
The most powerful delegation for all the years of the conference was represented by the Institute of Political and Ethnonational Studies named after I.F. Kurasa of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The head of the department of national minorities, Dr. Polit, spoke at the conference. Sciences, Professor V. O. Kotygorenko, leading researcher of the Department of National Minorities, Dr. Sciences, Professor Yu. O. Nikolayets, leading researcher of the Department of National Minorities, Dr. Polit. of Science S.Yu. Rymarenko, leading researcher of the Department of Theory and History of Political Science, Candidate of Science. history Science A. Yu. Podolskyi, junior researcher of the department of ethno-political science, candidate of science. history Science S. V. Nabok, junior researcher of the Department of National Minorities, Candidate of Sciences. history Sciences V. V. Novorodovsky.
On October 4, a round table was held: «Taking into account the ethno-cultural features of the South of Ukraine in the development and implementation of state ethnopolitics», the most active participants in which were: the head of the Zaporizhzhia Society of Tatar Culture «Altyn-Ai» R. S. Akhmerova, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Lithuanian Society R. P. Baltushite-Falkevych, the head of the Regional Society of Polish Culture named after A. Mickiewicz O. Yu. Pavlyuk, head of the laboratory of technical progress of the National University «Zaporizka Polytechnic» N. V. Derkach and others.
