The Department of Military Training congratulated the graduates

Every year at the end of July, the Department of Military Training of Zaporizhzhia National Technical University celebrates a holiday – taking the military oath. On a hot Friday, July 29, from the very morning, a packed square gathered graduates of the department, their teachers, relatives, friends and honored guests of the holiday. The event was opened by the Rector of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, Serhii Borisovych Belikov. He congratulated the participants of the holiday, gave advice for our strong and responsible youth, wishing them all the best.

This year, 234 junior lieutenants, including students of our university and higher education institutions of the Zaporizhzhia region, solemnly took the oath at the military training department of ZNTU. For two years, boys and girls conscientiously studied military affairs, persistently mastered commanding, methodical and practical skills in the established military accounting specialty. Among the graduates there are also young people who have distinguished themselves: for the high-quality organization of training and holding a training session with students of the Department of Military Training, high indicators in military training, exemplary military discipline, skillful management of subordinate personnel of the unit, exemplary discipline, they were awarded valuable gifts from the trade union committee of students of ZNTU:

1. Student of the transport faculty, senior sergeant Mospan Andriy Leonidovych;

2. Junior Sergeant Oleksandra Ivanivna Korkhova, a student of the Faculty of Humanities and Law;

3. Student of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, senior sergeant Brylisty Viktor Viktorovych;

4. Junior Sergeant Oleksandr Eduardovych Kuznetsov, a student of the Electrical Engineering Faculty;

5. A student of the Faculty of Radio Electronics and Telecommunications, senior sergeant Oleksandr Valeriyovych Chaikivskyi;

6. Student of the Faculty of Radio Electronics and Telecommunications Sergeant Dzhabrailov Oleksandr Volodymyrovych;

7. Student of the Faculty of Engineering and Physics, Sergeant Vovk Artem Oleksandrovych;

8. Student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, soldier Dmytro Andriovych Zayats.

Teachers were also honored for their special achievements with valuable gifts by the ZNTU students’ trade union committee:

1. Senior teacher, deputy head of the department for educational work, reserve colonel Oleksandr Valentinovych Korobov;

2. Teacher retired lieutenant colonel Elashko Mykola Serhiyovych;

3. Teacher reserve lieutenant colonel Oleksiy Volodymyrovych Fedosov;

4. Volodymyr Mykolayovych Petrenko, head of the regime-secret department, retired senior ensign;

5. Senior teacher reserve lieutenant colonel Oleksandr Ivanovych Khrypun;

6. Teacher reserve Major Oleksandr Mykolayovych Petrenko.

On this day, solemn words of oath, coordinated marching, and military songs sounded on the square. The audience was delighted by the demonstration performance of the department’s graduates, and was also captivated by a real show from the youth special unit «Shield».

The holiday, as always, took place on a level, and we congratulate its culprits. Dear graduates of the Department of Military Training of ZNTU, we believe that you will become real defenders of your family and friends, and as a result, the entire Ukrainian people will live in harmony and strive for a bright future.
