The Department of Management of ZNTU took part in the work of the International Forum on Cooperation of Territorial Communities and Business «InCoForum 2017»
During October 11-13, 2017, Prof. Gudz P.V. participated in the work of the «II International Forum on Cooperation of Territorial Communities and Business» (Zaporizhzhia).
The organizers were the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council, the Agency for Regional Development in the Zaporizhzhia Region, the Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Zaporizhzhia Center for the Development of Local Self-Government.
The forum was held with the aim of promoting the Zaporizhzhia region as a regional center of economic growth; presentations of regional investment projects; strengthening the capacity of united territorial communities by implementing international experience, attracting investments and developing cooperation between representatives of united territorial communities (OTG) of Ukraine and companies – domestic and foreign suppliers of goods and services and promoting the establishment of cooperative business relations with foreign partners and newly created communities.
The partners were the EU/UNDP Project, the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, the «Promis» Project, the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), the Association of Territorial Communities of Ukraine, and the «U-LEAD with Europe» Program.
At the sectional meeting and in the section «Strengthening the capacity of united territorial communities through the implementation of international experience, attraction of investments and development of cooperation between representatives of the OTG of Ukraine and companies – domestic and foreign suppliers of goods and services».
In the framework of the current discussion platform for the purpose of discussing topical issues related to the implementation of the reform of power decentralization in Ukraine, an exchange of views took place regarding the tools for implementing reforms in the OTG of the Zaporizhzhia region.
A review of the exposition of the united territorial communities made it possible to get to know the heads and representatives of more than 20 OGTs of the region, to receive investment passports of the territory. Establishing contacts with interested persons is a prerequisite for starting at ZNTU retraining and advanced training of personnel for OTG under the educational program «Public management and administration» and separate areas of training in European studies, European Union project management, territory marketing, theory and practice of conducting negotiations, formation of activity of community residents and development of human potential.
