Youth and sport: the final of the Cup of Ukraine in aerobics
On Saturday, November 24, the finals of the Aerobics Cup of Ukraine took place in the Palace of Sports «Yunist», where the national team of the Zaporizhzhia region took first place.
It was a real sports holiday, in which the students of ZNTU also joined. Performing numbers in various nominations, they proved step by step to everyone that sports at the university and the city as a whole is alive and flourishing.
A real firework was a flash mob by students of different faculties specializing in aerobics and physical culture, in which more than 150 students took part. Talented singers Anna Kosovych and Mykhailo Gerasimchuk supported them with their singing. Another 48 students took the stage with an incredible demonstration performance with fit balls and step platforms.
Synchronity and enchantment – these are the words that can be chosen for this performance. The athletes were prepared by the teachers of the department of physical culture, Olympic and non-Olympic sports of ZNTU MSMK Kateryna Shekhovtsova, MSMK Kubatko A. I., MS Svitlana Kokareva, head of the department Svitlana Atamanyuk. We are grateful to them for such results and wish them success and victories in the future.
And, of course, the ZNTU funk aerobics team, which won first place on several occasions. Real champions are strong, hardy and beautiful. I wanted to keep an eye on their every move, their performance was so exciting.
