IT Forum 2017
With the support of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, the Department of Software Tools of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University (ZNTU) within the framework of the implementation of international projects «Centers of Excellence for young RESearchers» (CERES, Ref. No. 544137-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-SK-TEMPUS-JPHES) of the «Tempus» and «Internet of Things: Emerging Curriculum for Industry and Human Applications» (ALIOT, 573818-EPP-1-2016-1-UK-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) of the «Erasmus+» program of the European Union for 250 students and teachers of ZNTU, it was organized to visit the next IT forum, which took place in «Cossack Palace» on September 29, 2017.
IT-forum 2017 is a large-scale conference that gathered hundreds of software developers, marketers, designers, entrepreneurs, businessmen, students and IT teachers. The event was held in six streams: Web Development, Mobile Development, Design & Q / A, Business, Marketing, FREE SPACE. The Start-UP Battle, at which the best ideas from all over Ukraine were selected, was interesting for visitors. The exhibition area of the conference was filled with robotics and the Internet of Things (IoT). There was a lounge area and an active recreation area for visitors.
In addition to ZNTU, other universities also took part in the event. Each university presented an information stand and demonstrated its proposals for the training of IT specialists. The stand of the Department of Software Tools of ZNTU, which is the leader in the training of IT specialists in the region and has a leadership position in scientific work and international cooperation, aroused considerable interest among the participants of the IT forum.
Numerous meetings of representatives of the department of software tools and its former graduates, which took place during the IT forum, turned out to be pleasant. It is worth noting that graduates of the department of software tools of ZNTU occupy leading positions in the regional labor market in Zaporizhzhia: many have their own companies, work in management positions or are leading specialists in the IT industry.
