INTERPIPE Mechatronic Battle
On September 15-16, 2018, INTERPIPE held the second mechatronics championship Mechatronic Battle within INTERPIPE TechFest 2018 in Dnipro.
The material base of the competition is Festo’s educational stands. They were provided by the INTERPIPE company for the championship and for preliminary training of the competition participants at master classes.
The participants were divided into 4 leagues depending on the difficulty of the tasks.
University Mechatronic League was held for 4-5 year university students. Teams of three students solved simulated problems that may arise in real production. The competition was held in three areas: hydraulics, pneumatics and industrial controllers.
ZNTU was represented by a team of students from the EPA Department in the following composition:

– Oleinikov Mykola Oleksandrovych, gr.E-326sp,
– Goncharov Dmytro Viktorovych, gr.E-326sp
Coaches:

– Olena Nazarova, Ph.D., Assoc. cafe EPA, ZNTU.
In the overall standings the team of the EPA Department of ZNTU won III place.
