Foreign students get to know Ukraine
Before the May holidays, students of the preparatory faculty for foreign citizens, together with their teachers, visited the island of Khortytsia. Young men and women from Lebanon, Morocco, India, Ecuador, Nigeria, and Côte d’Ivoire learned about the glorious history of Zaporizhzhia with great interest and enthusiasm. The magical nature of the island did not leave them indifferent.
Recently, foreign students visited the Zaporizhzhia Regional Museum of Local Lore and were amazed by the antiquity of historical artifacts and the diversity of the natural world of our region. They were no less interested in the excursion to the Boguslaev Museum of Technology («Motor Sich»), where they got acquainted with unique expositions of various technologies, with the history of Zaporizhzhia industry.
Foreign students of «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» are actively interested in the history, culture, and traditions of the Ukrainian people, successfully master the Ukrainian language, linking their hopes for obtaining a quality education with Ukraine and, in particular, Zaporizhzhia. Ukrainian and Russian language teachers G.O. Sergienko, N.B. Mantulo, O.I. Bratsun help them instill respect and love for Ukraine and our land.
