Youth initiatives for the benefit of the city!
The cooperation of active youth and city authorities is becoming increasingly popular in our city. Another proof of this fact was the actions to restore the favorite resting place of Zaporizhzhia residents – T.G. Shevchenko Boulevard.
On August 15, the Zaporizhzhia City Council, together with the company «Kyivstar» at the initiative of the youth public organization «Misto Z» opened a Wi-Fi area. Now, in the park near the «Lovers’ Clock», the first «Territory of Legal Content» in Ukraine has been created. Using the open Wi-Fi zone, you can access electronic libraries of literature and music by installing the «Smart KS» applications on your mobile devices and «Music Club».
In addition, by the Independence Day of Ukraine, it is planned to install flower beds in the park, restore lighting, fountains and the legendary clock.
Our students also attended the grand opening of the «Territory of Legal Content», watched festive performances by Zaporizhzhia talents and tried out the proposed applications on their mobile devices.
It is nice that thanks to the ideas of young people, Zaporizhzhia is being updated and improved. It turns out that the future of the city is really in our hands, and, therefore, we should generate progressive ideas and not be afraid to implement them. The Trade Union Committee of Students, Postgraduate and Doctoral Students of ZNTU will always support your interesting proposals! For example, at ZNTU, on the initiative and with the direct participation of the students’ trade union committee, a free Wi-Fi project was implemented in the library’s reading rooms in 2012.
