The main building of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University is connected to the eduroam network

Good news: the main building of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University is connected to the eduroam WiFi network, which provides secure access for the international scientific and educational community, available worldwide (for more details — at the link http://www.uran.ua/~ukr/eduroam.htm).

Work has been carried out to synchronize the user database, install and configure access points.

I would like to express my gratitude to the participants in this process – the Center for Innovation and Information Technology Support of the Educational Process, the Educational Department, the Association of Users of the Ukrainian Scientific and Educational Telecommunications Network «URAN».

I would like to note that participation in this project for the university is absolutely free. To date, the URAN Association has provided 10 professional access points, which is the implementation of the first stage of connection. We plan to continue cooperation, expand coverage, and connect other university buildings.
