Hackathon It-Scouts on robotics «Smart-City»

The team of the Department of Radio Engineering and Telecommunications of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University consisting of: head prof. Moroz G.V., Novitchenko V.S. student group RT-216, Kalyuzhny A.G. student group RT-227, Nepomnyashchy V.O. student group RT-219m, took the SECOND team place within the framework of the direction «Smart-City» at the «Hakathon IT-Scouts» on robotics.

All-Ukrainian team competitions for youth «Hakathon IT-Scouts on robotics «Smart-City» among students of higher educational institutions of Ukraine were held in Vinnytsia at the initiative of the public organization «Technical Scout Movement IT-Scouts» on the basis of Vinnytsia National Technical University from September 20 to 21, 2019.

During the Hackathon, competitions were held in two areas: passing the «Smart-City» training ground with an autonomous robot with the completion of 6 tasks and an exhibition of «Smart-City» technologies from participants and partner companies. Participants demonstrated their own developments in robotics, talked with colleagues, got acquainted with Smart City technologies using artificial intelligence, and met with leaders of the «Smart-City» development market.

The team of the Department of Radio Engineering and Telecommunications of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University presented the project «Smart-Bus», which was awarded an honorable second place in the «Smart-City» category.
