Forum of gifted youth
On March 28, 2015, the First Forum of Gifted Youth of the city of Zaporizhzhia was held in the walls of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University with the support of the ZNTU students’ trade union committee. The event was attended by scholarship recipients of the mayor – students of ZNTU, ZNU, ZDMU, ZDIA, KPU, ZIEIT and all colleges of Zaporizhzhia.
At the beginning of the Forum, the rector of ZNTU Serhiy Belikov, the head of the department for work with youth of the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of the City Council Ihor Serhiyovych Filipenko, the head of the trade union committee of students, postgraduates and doctoral students of ZNTU Andriy Volodymyrovych Ivanchenko gave a welcome speech at the beginning of the Forum. After that, the participants of the event went to their respective sections to solve problems in their field of activity.
«Brainstorming» took place in seven directions:
- Involvement of students and student youth in active participation in the public life of the city, which was moderated by Uncle Kyrylo Serhiyovych, president of the Career Development Center «Professionals».
- Participation of youth in scientific research work: status and prospects, moderator Serhii Oleksandrovych Subbotin – chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ZNTU.
- Student self-government: state, problems, prospects, moderated by Andrii Volodymyrovych Ivanchenko – head of the trade union committee of students, postgraduates and doctoral students of ZNTU.
- A healthy lifestyle is a healthy nation, moderator Ogol Vsevolod is a business trainer, practicing coach.
- Amateur activity and artistic self-activity of young people: state, problems, prospects, moderated by Pokhvalytova Elise Andriivna – head of the «Talent» training and development center.
- The development of patriotic education and the participation of young people in law enforcement activities, moderated by Devochkin Vasyl Fedorovych – the head of the youth special unit «SHIELD».
- Employment of university students and graduates – modern conditions of the labor market, moderator Olefir Svitlana Volodymyrivna – specialist of the Center for Promotion of Employment of Students and Graduates of ZNTU.
Students fruitfully worked on the set goals, developed and presented solution projects from each section, had a good time in interesting «interuniversity» communication.
As a result, the resolution of the Gifted Youth Forum was adopted. Ihor Serhiyovych Filipenko and the coordinator of the Forum – the head of the Employment Assistance Center of ZNTU Anastasiya Viktorivna Ignashova gave the closing speech. It was decided to continue holding similar Forums, because it is not only interesting and informative, but also useful and effective in solving problems, and also contributes to the unification of students for the common good!
