Final of the KVN tournament for the ZNTU Rector’s Cup among the faculties of the university
On December 6, 2013, the final game of the cheerful and clever this year for the Rector’s Cup of Belikov Serhii Borisovich took place in the assembly hall of Zaporizhzhia National Technical University. The following teams took part: «Kommunalka», «Port 777», «RP-Duchess», «Santimetr schastya» , «FIOT.com».
The players were evaluated by a jury team, including Ivanchenko Andriy, Darya Bilotserkovets, Oleksiy Savytskyy, Dmytriy Yarmolenko, Viktoriya Kominova and Anatolii Ostapenko.
The concert’s partners are the fast food restaurant chain «BurgerCLUB», taxi «Optimalnoe», and nightclub «SKYHALL». The host of this grand evening was the unchanging Dmytriy Shendryk.
The game began with the traditional «Greetings» competition, in which each team left a fascinating impression after its performance. The team «Centimeter of Happiness» received the most points and «FIOT.com».
During the breaks between the teams’ performances, the host held the traditional «Notes» competition. Everyone laughed heartily at the jokes from the audience and the winners were chosen, who received certificates for a free menu at BurgerCLUB and tickets to attend the New Year’s party from the trade union committee of ZNTU students, which will be held at the Platinum nightclub.
The next stage was «Warm-up» – a competition consisting of funny and unique answers by the teams to questions from the jury members. The players quickly coped with this task and, accordingly, received well-deserved points.
»Biathlon» – the third competition, in which a player from the team reads out two jokes; whoever has them less funny, leaves the competition. The first round – with an asset of 0.4 points, the team «Kommunalka» leaves the competition, the second – 0.6 points – the team «Centimeter of Happiness», then – 0.8 «Port 777» and the victory here goes to «FIOT.com».
The «Voicing» competition – is the determination of the teams’ original approach to the task set – how to voice the funniest shots from the film. The comedy film «We – Millers» was taken as a basis. And again «FIOT.com» gets the highest points.
After that, a new debutant competition «STEM» took place – a game for three or more people, which consists in staging funny jokes. «Centimeter of Happiness» and «FIOT.com» shared the victory in this competition.
The rector of ZNTU Belikov S.B. expressed his thoughts about this game: «The season has ended, and I am grateful to all of you, because people who always made us smile performed on this stage. Our players showed a high level of KVN; student life, which should live, love and laugh. May they be happy!». Also, all members of the jury expressed their gratitude to all teams for the excellent games of the season.
The time has come to announce the results of the competition. Ivanchenko A.V. and Belikov S.B. did not keep everyone waiting, but immediately announced the results. The third place was taken by the team «RP-Duchess», the second – «Port 777», and the first place was won by two teams that always scored more points during this game – «Centimeter of Happiness» and «FIOT.com». The players were awarded with commemorative cups and cash prizes.
By the way, we should also note and wish victory to the team «Zaporozhsky Vector-Mashinka-ZNTU», the champions of the Open Zaporizhzhia League of KVK and the champions of the Dnipro League of KVK TTO «AMIK», who will represent Zaporizhzhia in Sochi.
