Excursion for students of Zaporizhzhia Academic Lyceum No. 23
On February 15, students of grades 10 and 11 of Zaporizhzhia Academic Lyceum No. 23 visited the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University for an excursion.
The students were greeted by Vice-Rector Andriy Ivanchenko, Director of the Educational, Scientific and Production Center «Zaporizhzhia Regional Center of Polytechnic Education» Tetyana Solovyova, and Director of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» Olena Nazarova.
During the excursion, the students visited the faculties of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, engineering and physics, transport, law, as well as the faculty of social sciences. They got acquainted with unmanned technologies: they tried to control drones and automation technologies. Through 3D glasses, they were immersed in virtual reality.
The students tried to control lifting and transport mechanisms themselves, visited the museum of advocacy, a psychological training game, master classes «Unusual traffic lights» and «Top secret».
Teachers of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic told future applicants about the variety of specialties at our university and invited them to our future events.
