Remote participation of representatives of the Department of Software in international events
Employees of the Department of Software of the National University « Erasmus+ program.
Representatives of the Department of Software of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University also participated in the Summer School under the DAAD project DAAD «Virtual Master Cooperation Data Science» (ViMaCs). The event was held remotely on the Zoom platform from 06/29/2020 to 07/02/2020 and brought together scientists, teachers and higher education students from leading universities in Ukraine from Kyiv, Ternopil and Zaporizhzhia, as well as Germany. Within the framework of the school, lectures were given by: Head of the Department of Software, Doctor of Engineering, Prof. S.O. Subbotin, Prof. of the Department of Software, Doctor of Engineering, Assoc. Prof. G.V. Tabunshchyk, Associate Professor of the Department of PZ, Ph.D., N.O. Mironova. Ph.D. O. Petrova, assistant, postgraduate student S.D. Leoshchenko, assistant, postgraduate student D.A. Kavrin participated in the work of the school as students.
As part of the work on the interuniversity project to develop «Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence in Ukraine» with the participation of commercial companies from the USA, Canada and Ukraine, the head of the department of software tools of the «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University» S.O. Subbotin took part in a number of webinars on the Zoom platform. Leading scientists from universities and research institutes in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kramatorsk also participated in the seminars. The first (22.05.2020, https://youtu.be/LjSUknKKikg ) and second (04.06.2020, https://youtu.be/C4pIvflI9fQ ) webinars presented key issues of the project to develop the National Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence in Ukraine. The third webinar (09.07.2020, https://youtu.be/wXW3RXDaemk ) considered the definitions of key concepts of artificial intelligence and discussed possible areas of cooperation with foreign commercial companies. At the fourth webinar (07/30/2020 ), issues related to the development of the project were considered, a report on the application of artificial intelligence in the defense industry was heard. The concepts of artificial intelligence were discussed and defined.
