Achievements in research work of students in 2017/2018
An important component of the scientific activity of the educational institution is the scientific research work of students (NDRS). In 2017-2018 more than 100 student scientific circles, problem groups and preparation groups for the All-Ukrainian student Olympiads and competitions function in the university. 2,558 students (33.81% of the total number of students) are covered by various forms of NDRS.
Departments, the department of scientific work of students worked actively and fruitfully in the direction of involving students in scientific work.
It is necessary to note the high activity of students in university-level events: the university stage of the competition of student scientific works, olympiads in subjects and specialties, scientific and practical conferences.
Significant results were achieved by ZNTU students in the II stage of the All-Ukrainian competition for student scientific works (35 winners) and in the II stage of the All-Ukrainian student Olympiad in subjects and specialties (17 winners).
At a high level, events of an All-Ukrainian scale were held at our university: employees of the department of power supply of industrial enterprises held the All-Ukrainian student Olympiad in the specialty «Electrotechnical systems of power consumption», and the department of equipment and technology of welding production – the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works in the field of «Welding».
According to the program of the annual scientific and practical conference of teachers, scientists, young scientists, graduate students and students of ZNTU «Science Week», which took place from April 16 to 20, 2018 at all departments of the university, more than 650 student reports were heard.
The individual work of teachers, researchers and students is marked by fruitful results. All measures from NDRS were aimed at increasing the level of training of bachelors and masters.
Sincere thanks to our laureates, academic supervisors, organizers of NDRS, who contributed a lot of inspiration, hard work to prepare the winners, and achieve a high level in conducting events.
