Attention students of preferential categories!

If you:

– are enrolled in the 1st year of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in full-time study by state order

– are current students of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in full-time study by state order, have no academic debts, but do not receive an academic scholarship this semester

We are waiting for you in room 405 (fourth floor of the main building of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University – the social protection commission of the student trade union committee)!

The right to social scholarships is granted to students (cadets) from among:

1) orphans and children deprived of parental care, and persons from among them, as well as students of a higher education institution who, during the period of study, are aged 18 up to 23 years old left without parents;

2) persons who are entitled to receive a social scholarship in accordance with Articles 20-22 and 30 of the Law of Ukraine «On the Status and Social Protection of Citizens Affected by the Chernobyl Disaster»;

3) miners who have experience of underground work for at least three years in accordance with Article 5 of the Law of Ukraine «On Increasing the Prestige of Mining Work»;

4) persons who became students within three years after receiving basic and/or complete general education, whose parents are miners who have at least 15 years of experience of underground work or died as a result of an accident at work or who were diagnosed with disability of group I or II, in accordance with Article 5 of the Law of Ukraine «On Increasing the Prestige of Mining Work»;

5) persons recognized as victims of the Revolution Dignity, participants in hostilities in accordance with the Law of Ukraine «On the Status of War Veterans, Guarantees of Their Social Protection», and their children;

6) children whose one parent died (went missing) in the area of ​​the anti-terrorist operation, the implementation of measures to ensure national security and defense, repel and deter the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, hostilities or armed conflicts or died as a result of a wound, contusion or mutilation received in the area of ​​the anti-terrorist operation, as well as as a result of a disease received during participation in the anti-terrorist operation;

7) children whose one parent died during mass civil protest actions or died as a result of a wound, contusion or mutilation received during mass civil protest actions;

8) children registered as internally displaced persons;

9) persons who are awarded social scholarships of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for students of higher educational institutions from among orphans and children from low-income families in accordance with the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dated October 24, 2002 No. 218-IV;

10) children with disabilities and persons with disabilities of groups I-III;

11) students from families receiving assistance in accordance with the Law of Ukraine «On State Social Assistance to Low-income Families»;

12) persons with disabilities as a result of the war in accordance with the Law of Ukraine «On the Status of War Veterans, Guarantees of Their Social Protection» and their children.

13) children living in settlements on the contact line in accordance with Article 43 of the Law of Ukraine «On Professional Pre-Higher Education» and Article 44 of the Law of Ukraine «On Higher Education».

Please note that the persons specified in paragraphs 5-8, 12, 13 have the right to receive a social scholarship until they graduate from an educational institution, but no longer than until they reach the age of 23

You must have the originals and copies (four copies) of the documents certifying the benefits.
