On the Day of Liberation of the Hometown
On October 10, a rally-requiem dedicated to the 71st anniversary of the liberation of Zaporizhzhia from the fascist invaders was held on Soviet Square near the monument to the tank crew.
Veterans, together with schoolchildren, students, representatives of enterprises and public organizations, remembered the difficult times of the Great Patriotic War and honored the memory of the heroes. Thematic poems and songs were sensually sung at the rally, a snow-white flock of doves was symbolically released into the sky. Flowers were solemnly laid for the tank crew of Commander Yatsenko.
We will forever remember at what price we returned our peaceful, our sky! We will be proud of our glorious heroes! We will live and act in the name of peace, in the name of honor, in the name of the future!
