DYUNU joined the program of the modern day ecological and innovative camp «ECOCAMP»
Children’s and Youth Scientific University «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» joined the program of the modern day ecological and innovative camp «ECOCAMP» with an educational master class «Modern methods of ecological production – reverse engineering».
Representatives of the Department of Metal-Cutting Machine Tools and Tools – Senior Lecturer Serhiy Tanchenko and Assistant Diana Artsybasheva – introduced the camp participants to the possibilities of reverse engineering, its role in sustainable development of production and the use of additive technologies to reduce waste and rational use of resources.
During the workshop, the children learned about modern methods of 3D scanning and reproduction of parts, and also tried to work with the scanner on their own. They were particularly excited by the opportunity to scan various objects and even each other, watching how digital models are created. The participants who were the most active and answered the questions correctly received nice gifts.
We would like to thank the organizers of the ECOCAMP camp for the opportunity to introduce children to modern engineering technologies and form ecological thinking through practical experience.
