Derby of Oleksandrivsky district
On May 24, the «Battle of Universities» competition continued in the sports hall of the Zaporizhzhia State Medical University. In the second stage, universities competed in mini-football. Our university takes part in the tournament, so the organized fan club was in place long before the matches started.
It is symbolic that the football players of ZNTU had to meet in face-to-face confrontation with the ZNU team. The match started with the complete dominance of the neighbors, but only the students of «Mashinka» created the intensity. However, this did not prevent ZNU from scoring two goals at the end of the first half. The second half of the game was also under the control of the football players of ZNU, although our boys were bolder in the attack. At one point, they even renewed the intrigue, equalizing the score, and with a series of incredible saves by the goalkeeper. Nevertheless, after the timeout, the ZNU team rallied and responded with a series of accurate long shots. With a margin of two goals, the match ended. It is worth noting that the goalkeeper of the ZNTU team was undoubtedly the best player of the match!
