Day of knowledge at ZNTU
In the last days of summer, all higher education institutions of Ukraine started celebrating the Day of Knowledge, that is, before the beginning of the new academic year. And our glorious Zaporizhzhia National Technical University did not miss the festive greetings.
On August 31, a solemn initiation ceremony was organized for first-year students of ZNTU. The event was attended by the rector of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University Belikov Serhiy Borisovych, the chairman and representatives of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, representatives of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, the chairman of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Organization of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine Nadiya Ivanivna, the chairman of the trade union committee of students of ZNTU Ivanchenko Andriy Volodymyrovych, representatives of regional trade union organizations and graduates of the past years of our university. All those present expressed their sincere wishes to the freshmen, because it is important to give instructions to the future of our country before the beginning of the academic year.
There were so many students, their parents and friends present at the celebration that they had to find places a little further from the main building to watch the speakers and hear their speeches. By the way, the event took place near the main (first) building of the university.
Two first-year students were given the opportunity from all first-year students to take an oath to conscientiously study at the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University and also received symbols of student life – a key to knowledge and a student card.
The words heard about the fact that ZNTU graduates are known far beyond the borders of our country are really true, because the knowledge that students receive within the walls of our glorious university is important and necessary in professional life.
I agree with all the words of congratulations that have sounded for our freshmen!
Congratulations!
