Open day at ZNTU
On May 20 at 11:00 a.m., «Mashinka» hospitably opened its doors to all those who wish to learn about the conditions of study at this wonderful university. Such an event is very useful for applicants, because right now, in May, one of the most important events in their lives is taking place – choosing a profession and a university, and holding an open day allows the educational institution to recommend itself to future students.
As soon as they got to the university, his guests immediately became participants in his interesting and informative life. Students distributed booklets and calendars with information about their institute. Zaporizhzhia National Technical University today has the following institutes: Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Institute of Physics and Technology, Institute of Informatics and Radio Electronics, Institute of Economics and Humanities, and Institute of Management and Law. Among them are 12 faculties, 60 departments, 9 educational and laboratory buildings. The university prepares bachelors, specialists (engineers), masters in 51 specialties. The teaching staff includes more than 900 people, of whom 640 have scientific degrees and scientific titles, including 47 doctors of science, professors. From the number of teachers, 24 persons were elected full members and corresponding members of branch academies of Ukraine, 25 have the honorary titles of honored workers of science and technology, honored workers of education, laureates of the State Prize. More than 13,000 students study at ZNTU. The university has a military department for the training of reserve officers at the same time as full-time training. Preparatory work with future applicants is carried out at the faculty of pre-university education in the form of a preparatory department, preparatory courses, weekend school.
A special program was prepared for parents and guests of «Mashinka», during which they had the opportunity to see the university from the inside, immerse themselves in the atmosphere that is characteristic of it, as well as familiarize themselves with the conditions of study, and ask the most exciting questions. The presenters of the event – Gleb Lunin, Anastasiia Boychenko, Anastasiia Atroshekova and Oleh Poleshko presented the numbers and informed about the audiences, in which they conducted a more detailed introduction to the peculiarities of studying in each of the institutes. The KVN «Zaporizhsky Vector» team entertained the audience, the champion in kettlebell sports showed us amazing skills, and the musical part was extremely diverse: there was an accordion, an electric guitar, and a song in French, as well as a song from the teacher. Even gloomy weather and rain did not prevent our artists from demonstrating their talents.
