Motor Sich Open Day
In honor of the 110th anniversary of the «Motor Sich» enterprise, an open day was held on October 28 for everyone who wants to see the inner workings of this large plant. In addition to the production of high-quality equipment, which is used in more than 100 countries of the world, «Motor Sich» uses personal funds to maintain a strong social infrastructure, which includes medicine, health care, recreation, a system of preschool institutions and public catering. It is important to say that this company also actively cooperates with Mashinka and acts as a sponsor of many events.
Students of ZNTU also visited Motor Sich that day. An employee of the enterprise – Denys Karzov – gave us a tour of the assembly shops of the largest and most popular engines on the aircraft market. We even managed to see the test of one of them. At the moment, the company is mastering the direction of aircraft construction, modernizing the existing equipment, and also preparing a new Ukrainian aircraft for testing. Motor’s workforce is more than 25,000 people and about 10,000 at related enterprises. Its products occupy a leading position among aircraft manufacturers in Ukraine, and are also known throughout the world.
