Birthday of the second dormitory
On November 2, residents of the second ZNTU dormitory had several reasons to celebrate: the dormitory’s birthday and the opening of a new sports ground. The deputy of the regional council, the rector of «Mashynka» — Serhiy Borisovych Belikov, together with the district administration of the Oleksandrivsky district, took care of the students’ sports leisure time. The second dormitory has existed for 54 years: exactly that many years ago (in 1963) two deans of ZNTU laid the foundation of this building.
After the rector, together with the head of the District Administration of Zaporizhzhia City Council in the Oleksandrivsky District Valerii Oleksandrovych Mostov and the head of the trade union committee of students of ZNTU Andriy Volodymyrovych Ivanchenko cut the red ribbon, the greetings began.
I can only say thank you to you, as to my voters. It is necessary to solve the social problems of our region, because many more similar ones are planned. I congratulate you on this wonderful holiday! – said S.B. Belikov
As the head of the district told us, 42 new sports grounds were installed last year, this year only 7, due to insufficient funding. The head of the trade union committee of students of ZNTU A. V. Ivanchenko also congratulated the students and added: «The main thing is the initiative of the students. And not only that you have ideas, but that you help implement them»
After these sincere congratulations, the most pleasant part began – the award ceremony: the winners in the nomination of the best room, as well as the members of the student self-government of the dormitory, received certificates of honor. That was the end of the official part and the show program began. The residents of the dormitory and the guests of the holiday were waiting for: a choreographic performance by the students of ZNTU, KVN from the team «Zaporizhsky vector – Mashinka – ZNTU», a workout master class from the best masters of the second dormitory, as well as a birthday song from Zayka Valeriya.
Well, we hope that the new sports ground will become a place where ZNTU students will spend their free time with pleasure and benefit! In any case, congratulations to ZNTU dormitory No. 2 on its 54th anniversary!
