Youth Day

This year, Youth Day and Constitution Day coincided, and this carries with it a certain symbolism: the future of the country, its prosperity and flourishing is the task that the youth of Ukraine is working on today, it is their sincere aspiration.

The weather on June 27 was not pleasant: rain, wind, clouds. But despite this, students of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University attended all the events that were prepared for the Youth Day.

The Youth Summer Festival dedicated to the Youth Day of Ukraine took place on the Central Beach of the city. Sports competitions in beach soccer and volleyball, as well as contests, games and various master classes were organized for Zaporizhzhia residents.

Representatives of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region also joined the event. As part of the Youth Day of Ukraine festival, the action «Prevent. Save. Help».

Rescuers paid special attention to safety issues when detecting suspicious or explosive objects. Also, which is no less important, trainings were held on providing first aid, applying various types of bandages and observing safety during the summer period.

Of course, on the eve of the Youth Day celebration, a festive concert was arranged at the Raduga fountain cascade. And it was at the solemn concert after the end of the festival that the most active students who contributed to the development of the university and the city during their studies were awarded certificates of honor of the Zaporizhzhia City Council. Halyna Lukash and Serhii Kudlai received well-deserved awards among the students of «Mashinka».

So, despite all the weather obstacles, Youth Day was celebrated wonderfully. And this means (if we return to the symbols mentioned above) that all troubles will definitely be overcome, because there is a blooming hope – the talented and active youth of Ukraine.
