Manager’s Day at ZNTU
On November 2, a celebration in honor of Manager’s Day was held in the assembly hall of our university.
Officially, this holiday has been celebrated at ZNTU for only 3 years, and every year the teaching staff surprises with the originality of competitions for students. So, for example, this year there were 4 competitions for management students, based on the results of which the judges determined the winners.
Video business card in which students had to present their group in an original way. The jury chose the FEU-515 group as the winner of this competition.
Intellectual competition in which logic questions were submitted, similar to those asked to applicants for the position of an employee in the global Google corporation.
Competition for the most original group selfie. The students especially liked this competition, teachers even participated in it, who gladly agreed to help students with ideas for photos.
And a competition in which participants explained famous paintings from the perspective of management (for example, Salvador Dalí’s painting «Persistence of Time» was interpreted by the FEU-516 group as the idea of time management in business, and the FEU-514 group explained the famous painting by V.G. Perov «The Three» as the idea of the struggle of the young generation of our country with difficulties in society. According to the results of this competition, the highest number of points was scored group FEU-516.
Applicants who were interested in the management specialty and decided to get to know it better were also present at the celebration. They watched the performers with interest and were satisfied with the concert. The teachers watched with no less pleasure, they liked the creative video business cards the most, in which, by the way, they themselves participated, moreover, in one of the videos (FEU-515) they even danced!
According to the results of the competitions, the judges determined the winners:
1st place – FEU-515 group
2nd place – FEU-516 group
3rd place – FEU-513 group
At the end of the holiday, all the participants of the competition were invited to a sweet table, and the dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Vladyslav Vasyliovych Korolkov, solemnly presented the first year with a symbolic score book.
The manager’s day brought a lot of positive emotions to students, teachers, and applicants, and also contributed to the strengthening of friendly ties between groups and teachers.
